I did a hard reboot to swap out after I replaced a 2 TB recommended HD for DX4000 server. This is the first time I had to do this after the purchase of the server few years back. After the reboot, it gave me a new IP address, I think it might be due to that reason that I could not connect to the server from other computers on the same network. So I started the initial config i.e going through the IP address/connect etc (I guess I didn’t what I was doing) It was sitting at 0% for a long time, so I thought it might be stuck somewhere and turned the server off (hard reboot) again. Now the screen is showing:
Initial Configuration Finalizing…
This status has not changed for last 20 hours. What should I be doing. Will it recover? Have I lost my data on the server? Very worried - please help.
