I have a brand-new portable drive. I have a 1TB My Passport Ultra. I have registered it but its give the warranty status as Out of Region. I am from India and purchased it online from flipkart.com and retailer is Indian based company. I’d like to understand what this status means for my warranties and whether or not this means that Western Digital will not stand behind their products in the event of a warranty issue?
