When I go to transfer files from MacBook Pro, the info msg comes up and nothing happens, nor does it tell me what the info is? Any help or thoughts?
I would like to ask you what method are you using to backup? You can test the drive trying to save files manually on the drive. If that works the issue is with the software.
Which drive is it like Elements? If it came formatted for Windows NTFS then I believe it is read only on a Mac. To use on a Mac you’ll need to reformat or download NTFS-3G http://mac-free.com/download/NTFS-3G.html That will enable the drive to be used on Your Mac and Windows both.
