Indexing for remote access leads to My Cloud "crash"

Dear Community,

I would like to ask for your help for the following problem:

I have successfully updated my My Cloud device (bought in 2017) to the newest OS 5 firmware. I have now been trying to set up the remote access, albeit unsuccessfully. During the indexing stage, the device will more or less smoothly run up to roughly 78%, where it will stop indexing. Once it hits this mark, the dashboard becomes unaccessible (webpage crashes or cannot load successfully). Simultaneously, on my iOS My cloud app the device, any connection to my My Cloud is lost (usually, during indexing, I can track the progress). However, when looking at the physical device, it is still warm, apparently running, all LED lights on as they should be, with my internet connection definitely working. I have now tried configuring the remote access several times, and every time this “crash” has happened (strangely enough, sometimes it crashes earlier, sometimes it takes longer to index - I have not found a pattern yet).

Remote access is quite important to me and I need it quickly. Hence, I would be very grateful for some advice.
