Incredibly SLOW backup

I have a total of 3 x 3 TB WD drives

I have 2 x 64 bit machines & 1 x 32 bit WINDOWS OS

My WINDOWS 7 Home Edition is incredibly SLOW to Backup.

From my calculations I am trying to Backup a total of 142 GB of Data from this machine spread across internal drives, C,D & E.

I have had that system virtually running constantly for about 1 month and it is still never given a complete backup ’ tick ’ but is still ongoing?

I was told by a WD technician that this OS requires I partition the 3 TB to 1 + 2 partitions which I have done.

Why is it taking so long for a relatively small amount of Data?

AFAIK I have the latest Update running = 2.4.12

Hello, for 142 GB should take at the most a few hours. On the backup tab, do you see any files pending for backup? Do you have a antivirus installed on your computer?

Files pending for Backup, yes, frequently!

Yes I have Bitdefender Total Security 2016 installed
