Inconsistent storage

So I’ve had a 4TB My Cloud Home for a while but it was beginning to run out and had about 60GB left on it (2% left). I just purchased another 4TB My Cloud Home and have begun moving something over to that. I now have around 200GB on the new device (94% left). However, the original device is still showing as 2% left at around 60GB. How is this possible when I have moved 200GB over - surely there would be about 260GB left? I haven’t added anything new and the data I have moved is definitely not there on the original device (i.e. I know I moved it, not duplicated it by accident). Are there hidden files on it that are some how retaining the moved files or something? How do I get it to accurately display the storage?
