Hello,
I got an alert that I had connected an incompatible USB drive and the lap on the front is solid red.
However, everything works fine and I can access the drive like I want to.
It is also available in WD Quick view.
I have one MyBook and one Seagate connected to the two USB ports.
It only happens on one of the drives, the Seagate drive.
I disconnected it and reconnected it and the red light disappeared, but I can still not get the backup to work for that drive.
I simply get the status “backup failed”.
The Seagate have two partitions, I wonder if that is the culprit.
The backup starts, but does not complete.
