In need of extreme help

I have had my wd Live Hub for a few months, and stumbled upon the capabilities of this site and themes and thumbgen and all that.  I am clueless where to start, but here is what I was wanting.  I basically want to have decent cover art, but things like TV shows all to be under one category so when I click on say “The Office” It then opens up the Seasons that I have.  Right now I have all my movies in a folder named after the movie and TV series named after the show.  and am using the stock wd hub.  And the TV shows have their own selection for each episode that I have which is annoying, obviously.  I also want to know how to successfully use thumbgen to integrate the needed files for cover art, etc.  I don’t know what I’m doing.  I understand I might not even be in the right place for this post, so if you wanna be an [Deleted] just post it somewhere else I have a problem I am determined to fix, with anyone’s help that is willing to help.(I have used tutorials, I guess that I just don’t understand them).  I am not computer stupid I can find my way around just find, just need help with why what I do does not work.  Am starting from the first step, to anyone willing to help.  Please feel free to email me at [Deleted]
