By moving the Hub from the top of my cable box to a tv stand nearby I dramatically improved the amount of fan noise eminating from the unit. For the week or so I owned the unit is there any possibility that being on top of the cable box, and possibly overheating at times, could have caused damage to the unit. I ask this because my unit is still under warranty and if damage may have occurred it would be in my best interest to exchange it for a new unit.
I doubt that it has been damaged. Anyway if its working OK at the moment how could you possibly exchange it under warranty.
