I’ve bought a western digital Ultrastar 14TB hard drive 2 days ago and i can’t register it on the Western Digital website, the problem is the serial number of the product, apparently they have change it and in the past it was 12 numbers (i have a lot of black WD) but now on my Ultrastar it is only 8 numbers and so it won’t register…
I have been searching a lot about this problem but did not find anything useful on the net and the worst thing is that i can’t contact WD about this problem because you have to give them the Serial Number of your product when you’re filling the form but mine is not valid so i’m stuck !
I didn’t find their customer assistance address anywhere…
Can anybody help me out ?
