The new external drive worked at first . After returning to it next day . the icon loads on desk top , even preview works on desk top, but can’t open it in imovie for editing … Can anyone Help?
If you can see it and open it on the desktop and on finder then the drive is working as it should, so check the app settings in case the configuration needs to be manually set again.
As pizza stated, this is not an issue with the external drive, just open iMovie and go to options and look for the USB options.
Imovie Options? I am stumped…
