I want to eject my passport!

Have 1 TB “My Passport” on windows 7 laptop.

Decided I didn’t like the WD backup program 'cause it was always using the drive while I was using the computer and wouldn’t stop using it. The idea of a laptop computer is I can pick it up and move around, but I have this silly passport dangling from it.

So I changed software to use something else so it backs up while I’m doing something else.

But now, how do I eject the silly thing so I can move around without it dangling from my portable computer? Eject no longer shows in the windows explorer right click menu.

Hanging by my USB cable,

Torby

Hi, check if the link below helps.

Well, actually, you didn’t read the question.

I didn’t like Smartdrive 'cause it was busy with the drive while I wanted to be doing other things, so I went to a solution that did the backup when I wasn’t doing other things. How can I get the “eject” option back in windows explorer like it was before I installed Smartdrive?
