I used the Wd software on my MY BOOK and chose the zero write option, and the drive stoped work…It show up on device menager and even give me the option to eject the drive…but it doesn´t show up on my computer…even if I right click on it and choose menage drive and go through all the steps…Help me…I don´t care about the data, I have EVERYTHING saved on cds.

Did you tried to format the drive from the Disk Management window? If you already formatted it try assigning a drive letter.
