I hope someone from WD reads this

Sometimes I think Forums like this discourge users from joining, took three tries to join.  I just bought a WD Passport is that not enough, you have to put me through the ringer to Join, ???..   Some times I think management never uses their Products or Services without a Techie guiding through it, “wow it works beautifully”…

I take exception that I am limited to 7 (seven) days to set  up a second computer, & why only two Computers, I may want to use it as a storage device…   I am Canadian Snowbird up to last year, & that had a compter in Florida, so I only had access to it every 6 to 7 months, a “Backup Drive” would have made sense to me…  But who am I, just a “user” that’s all…

Welcome to the Community. What is the exact issue you are encountering with your WD Passport? From what l see on your post you are trying to use your hard drive on different computers. Do they use different file systems? What is it exactly what you would like to accomplish?

More information like a detailed description of the actual issue and the steps you have taken so far will allow for more Users to better help you.

With regards to joining the Community, did you receive an error message? Was it an issue the security captcha? Did you try different Internet Browsers?
