If I use a sata 6 cable on this drive, will I get the true speed from it? Or, will it just work as a normal sata cable? Thanks
To get SATA 6 from a SATA 6 drive, you need to have the right cable as well as the motherboard that supports SATA 6. You may need to make sure the BIOS is set up correctly, also.
Ok. Thank you very much. I know the mother board supports it but im not sure if the drive is sata 6 I know I can only use sata connection on it. As for the BIOS Ill check to see if it needs to be set to sata 6. Thanks again
