The current network capability of the WD Live seems incredibly flaky.
I switch it on one day, and it works great.
Next day, I need to switch it off and on 5 times before it’ll work.
With the pre-release firmware, it would work great EVERY SINGLE TIME.
Only (well known) problem was that I needed to wait an age for anything to load.
I’ve reverted back to the old firmware since my evenings are only so long and I can’t wait 20-mins for a file to load. But the HOPE of a decent network connection is there.
Keep up the good work WD.
I’m reeaaalllllyyyy looking forward to the next update.
My advice for others feeling frustration, is to just be patient rather than messing with every PC setting under the sun.
