I can't write to my attached hard drive anymore

It seams like someone changed permissions with Linux because now when I go to permissions it says

root (Unix User\root) Permission: Special

root (Unix Group\root) Permission: Special

Everyone Permission: Special

But for the life of me I can’t change the permissions or write to my attached hard drive through wireless. (I have to bring my wdtv live to my pc and then write my files from there)

Can someone tell me WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON?

Did I just get hacked?

BTW I can see my files alright, its just writing to my hard drive that is the problem.

ALSO - I said I now have to bring my wdtv live to my computer (I meant only my external hard drive)
