I Can't Unplug My Passport Essential

Dear all,

is there anyone can help me? i can’t unplug my passport from my computer. it’s just seems like there’s still any program accessing it, but when i look at task manager, there’s no open application. this really messed me up. somebody plis help me?:cry:

I have had that problem occasionally in the past with removable media. It usually turns out there is a program holding on to an open file anyway.

Once upon a time I had a program that showed all open file handles. I found then that a repeat offender was Windows trying to get info from video files, combined with troublesome video codecs. Some programs also seem to hang on to the folder where they last opened a file from.
