I recently bought a brand new WD 2TB MyBook and the plug and play install went fine and completed without any issues but I can’t see it in My Computer. Its a windows drive and I’m running it on Window XP. The device manager says it’s fine but, alas, no workie workie. I’m crazy frustrated and want to be able to use this drive to store my precious media but I can’t. Help me please…
Have you tried to look from NETWORK ? If you want to access Mybook from PC, you have to map network drive. Use the WD Discover tool for this,
