I want to connect My Passport WD3200ME to my Windows 7 PC. The disk is from 2004/2005. The first time he doesn’t find a driver and suggested to use Windows Update. After a while he installed the driver but he recognized the disk. The green light is active? Have someone a suggestions how I can try connected the drive? I became this drive from a friend and he works good but I use him a few years not. Thanks for the support.

How is the drive showing under disk management?
Make sure that you are connecting the drive directly to the PC and if is a desktop computer use the back USB ports.
