I can't access my usb drive media on the hub from my computer

I have uploaded most of my media to the hub from a USB thumb drive. And everything works fine. However, I hooked up an ethernet cable to my macbook pro and the hub is recognized, but since I uploaded all my media through a usb thumb drive I can’t see any of my media, more like it says I don’t have permission to view contents. Is there a fix for this?

If possible can you post a screen shot of the exact error message you are receiving? It would greatly be appreciated.
