I have problem with my WD My Book 3TB. It’s almost new - only a few months.
PROBLEM:
After a few hours of not using disc I can’t acces my files - disc seems to be empty even it’s visible in Finder. After eject and plug again disc is visible in Finder after 5-10 minutes (or sometimes longer or not at all). In WD Drive Utilities I turned off auto-sleep function. I there any other “sleep function” in mac? I turned off autosleep discs in mac preferences also. Maybe USB sleep mode?
I can’t work like this right now, all my projects and RAW files from Lightroom are on this drive. I need to get acces to them anytime even after 10 hours and not to eject and plug drive again and again. Anyone can help?
