I cannot see my 3TB MyCloud in the Network menu

Hi,

I have a 3TB MyCloud device that I bought a week or so ago. When i first got it and set it up it worked fine, and I Could see it in Windows 8.1’s network menu just fine.

Now I have reinstalled windows and the device will not show in the network menu. This is incredibly irritating as it worked just fine before. 

It shows via the web interface, remote interface and via the WDMC software, but it will not show in the Windows network menu.

Can anybody offer any advice?

Problem solved, it was a faulty router.

Now replaced and everything is working as it was before :smiley:
