I cannot login on my cloud 3T with pputty

I was asked to change password, I don’t know how to do next. whenever i press ‘enter’, the pputty is forced out.

You enter (type in) a new password then hit the enter key.

It looks like they want the current password. Then enter a new password when asked.

I inupted the current password, which is ‘welc0me’, but the pputty was forced out after I press ‘enter’ key.

What computer operating system are you using? Have you tried to disable SSH access, then re-enable it through the My Cloud Dashboard then tried accessing the My Cloud via SSH again?

Yes. it works. Thanks to Bennor and rac8006. according to your advice, I ‘disable SSH access, then re-enable it through the My Cloud Dashboard then tried accessing the My Cloud via SSH again’, but I used windows xp. I have changed a new password. Thanks again.
