Hi,

I recently bought a WD 5TB HDD from online seller “Flipkart” with this description “WD 5 TB External Hard Disk Drive with 5 TB Cloud Storage”

I don’t understand what is 5TB Cloud storage? Is it something like I will get additional 5TB Cloud storage? Or is it incorrectly sold? Or does WD does have any Disaster Recovery method through cloud?

Can anyone explain me please?

5TB My Passports do not come with 5TB of “Cloud” Backup

They come with WD Backup software.

Seller is stating inaccurate and misleading information.

Also, WD are not responsible for any data loss (as Per the Limited Warranty) and only offer support links to approved Data Recovery Services in case of data loss … at your Cost.
