Hey there!

I am stuck in a problem while migrating Outlook data to Gmail. I have been using Outlook 2013 for a long time and now I have created a new account on Gmail. Now, I want my Outlook mails to be here in Gmail (while still operating Outlook).

I wanna know how to get out of this situation. Though I’ve googled for solution, I didn’t find any reliable answers. Please help me out with this.

To migrate your mails from Outlook to Gmail, you can try these two methods:
Method I: Gmail Import Option

  • Open you Gmail and click on the gear icon for settings.
  • Click all settings and then “Accounts and Imports”.
  • Click on"Import mails and contacts".
  • Enter your Outlook Email ID. A new window will pop up asking for your permission.
  • Allow them. Gmail will ask which data (Contacts, Mails & Calendars). Choose all else tick accordingly.
  • Clicking finish will start the import process. It will take some time to complete the whole process depending on your file size.

Automatic Method of Conversion PST to Gmail:

  • Open MS Outlook. Go to Files> Open & Export>Import/Export.
  • An Import and Export Wizard will pop up. Select Export to a file.
  • Select “Outlook Data files (.pst)”. Click next.
  • Select what do you want to export (Mails/Calendars/Contacts etc).
  • Set the path of the file and your Outlook data will be saved in a file on your device.
  • Use the WebbyAcad PST Migrator Tool for migrating PST file to Gmail.
  • Open the software and Upload the PST File in the tool.
  • Select the mail data which you need to export and click Next.
  • Select “Gmail” in “Export Option” in drop down menu.
  • Enter your login credentials and hit “Export”.
