Isn’t the hub suppose to ask if you want to rejoin a partially viewed movie or start over?
it won’t ask if you have completely shut down the hub.
It will ask with an avi or mkv. But it doesn’t ask me with an iso.

What do you mean by “completely shut down”? I turn it off with the power button on the remote. I don’t ever turn the HDD completely off by pressing the power button for 5 seconds. If the HDD is only asleep shouldn’t it retain that function?
The Hub should “Resume” movies, REGARDLESS of media type. ISOs work just fine for me.
But there’s a couple of gotchas to get it to work reliably
Media Library must be ENABLED.
Media Library must have COMPLETED COMPILING before you even start browsing the collection.
I’ve tested this with DVD (ISO, not VOB), MKV, MT2S, MOV, and WMV and they all work.
I’ve NOT tested with AVI, DIVX, etc.
