How well will a My Book Studio Edition II work with a WD Live Hub?

Will it work as a simple drive?

Could RAID be used?

Backup possibilities?

This drive should work with the WD TV Live HUB, if it is configure as RAID 1, now if you have the drive configure in RAID 0, it should work as long the total capacity is not bigger than 2 TB.
