I set up a new My Book Essentials 2 t/b external hard drive yesterday. It appears to be working OK but how do I get to view the data that has been backed up.

If you’re referring to having backed up using smartware, then you can navigate into the smartware backup folder (wdstore I think) and keep navigating down through the folder to see what you have backed up. or you can open smartware and go to the restore tab and navigate through there as well.
