How to verify that my HDD is encrypted as I demand

I ask to encrypt my HDD when I change de RAID format, and tried to verify is my HDD is really encrypted. I dont see any place that tell me the status on the HDD. I just want to make sure, specially because I’ve done a restore on the system config.
