How to use wd nas as dlna media streaming with android

WD NAS CONNECT SOLUTION FOR SMART TV / TV BOX AND TABLETS

For the procedure I used WD MY BOOK LIVE 1Tb , android box iREVO smart tv box and tp-link c20i AC 750 wireless router .

To upload content I used WD MY Cloud software for windows 10 downlodable from :-

To connect wd nas cloud disk to android smart tv or box use following steps :-

  1. Enable Smb and UPnP on your router.

  2. Connect your NAS deive via Ethernet cable to your router.

  3. Use Mediahouse UPnP/DLNA app from app store.

  4. use ESexplorer app from app store.

configure Mediahouse app and then go to ESexplorer and under networktab click lan and then scan. You will see your NAS Drive there . Now click on it and select the folder where media is and you are done. For those of you using ehome media server you will b able to see it directly there , just click where is stored and play them direct.
