I have a WD NAS MyBookLive running Smartware 2.4.21.1 and using it to back up some Win10 laptops (previously was backing up Macs as well). I hear it chugging along and see in WD Smartware but I can no longer login to my share or tell if backups are working. I CAN log in to the NAS itself.
- How can I get access to the share/reset password without losing data?
- How can I tell if I am actually backing things up?
It won’t even let me recover files to test…
