How to switch on Twonky Server again?

Hi,

for speed issues I followed the FAQ advising to switch off server functionality to tickle more speed:

  • To get a little more performance, you can temporarily disable MioNet, iTunes, and Twonky on the Sharespace. This is particularly true when copying media files to it, since these applications will begin indexing the files as they’re being copied, resulting in a slow down.
  • MioNet and iTunes are easily stopped through the GUI. For Twonky, enter this in a web browser:

We did have some issues with slowdown in one of our previous firmware releases.  That has been fixed in firmware version 2.2.91.

How do I switch the server ON again?

http://<IPofNAS>:9000/rpc/startserver  ?

Happy to hear more…

By the way: speed issue did not better: newest firmware, gigabit network, copy from USB 2.0 Drive connected to Mac Mini server through Cisco Gigabit switch and Airport Extreme to another Cisco Gigabit switch to Sharespace.

1 TB = 31 hours. Of course AFP was enabled in sharespace. Files only very big files like 700 MB to 1 GB. Few directories.

Best regards
