I have a 4tb drive that is always scanning files. I have turned off the media suport as well as itunes, and still scanns non stop. How can I turn off scanning. I dont want anything scanned, the drive is just for network storage.

It is not possible to stop the scan. I recommend you post this in the ideas section.
