How to share my Laptop files on wifi?

I have a laptop with audio file (Mp3. Flac…) and a wireless router. I want to share my file over the wifi as WD could see them and I can play them using WD. what should I do? OS is Win7

is there any tutorial? I’m completely a newbie to network and wifi

I think I’ve done everything OK but when I choose the source Network Sharing on the WD menu, it start loading/searching/doind something which won’t end at all!

Have you downloaded the complete user manual yet from WD support for your particular WD player model?  If not, do so, and go through it to learn how to set up the network.for your WD.
