How to set up USB backup?

I have my Cloud Mirror connected and want to backup some USB drives that are connected to the same router (Time Capsule)

When I try and set this up in the web interface, there are no drives visible to choose from.
I can see the drives and access the drives, but they can not be seen in the setup for the USB backup.

Perhaps this is ONLY for drives connected DIRECTLY to the Cloud drive as an extension ??

I’m on the OS El Capitan for Mac.

Yes, the USB backup on the dashboard is only for data transfer to/from drives which are directly connected onto the back of the MCM.

Thanks! Easy fix.
I attached the drive to the Cloud drive and now I have set up a backup job.
