How to retrieve a previously backed-up file from My Cloud

I am trying to access previously backed-up files (versions of a file) on my My Cloud. I have done this in the past, but I can’t seem to find these now?

Backed up how? Using what software? Smartware? Time Machine? WD Sync? Other?

One could use Windows File Explorer or Mac Finder to search through the My Cloud Shares to find files with specific names.

Backed up to Smartware.

Open up SmartWare>Help>Retrieve and read the instructions or have you already tried this?
