I just upgraded to Win 10 and my current WD drive is FULL!!. I cannot find any instructions on how to delete data from the drive so I can just start over with a clean drive.
I am running WD Smartware V2.4.12 and I have a model WDBACW0020HBK-01 drive.
The upgrade to Win 10 went OK after I manually upgraded the SES driver. Prior to that Win 10 would not recognize the drive.
You might try to reformat the drive, this will delete the information that you have on the drive and it should allow you to start as if the drive was brand new.
Thanks for the feedback, I finally went to the backup drive and deleted the file under SmartWare.swstor which deleted all the old material. I restarted WD SmartWare and it is now going through a backup of my files.
