How to measure speed

I just installed my My Book 3.0 and the USB 3 card that came with it.  I’m on a PC with a fast chip and 12 gigs of memory.  The My Book is working fine.  Now I’d like to check to see if my data rate is anywhere near the 5 g potential.

Is there a program you could recommend for this?
