How to make my My Cloud safer?

I am re-installing my WD My Cloud (2TB).
Chrome-browser keeps telling me in the address bar that the address 192.168.0.115 is unsafe.
I am quite hesitating in using My Cloud.
Any suggestions ?

I’m not sure of what you are trying to do but have you tried files.mycloud.com? Which generation of My Cloud do your have 1st or 2nd?

It’s because you’re not using https. So Chrome warns you that http may not be secure.

However, you are accessing the device within your local network, not over the internet, so you don’t need security within your local network.
