I have smart ware Pro, my WD Desktop sees my Seagate 8TB disk in shares, but it isn’t seen in the Smart Ware.
I cant see instructions for None WD Disks

SmartWare Share only recognize the data backed with SmartWare. While the external hard drive connected in USB port of My Cloud, shows under a specific USB share.
You can use external USB drives with My Cloud to get data backup from NAS or backup on NAS but it is not used to expand the storage. If you are using mutibay My Cloud, add drives upto the maximum storage capacity which My Cloud enclosure supports.
