How to delete folder with LOTS of files

My Cloud OS 3 Personal & Network Attached Storage My Cloud EX2

I had my 3 cameras making pictures every second for the last 6 months in the same folder.
I can’t open or delete it with windows, ftp or over ssh terminal. Any ideas how get rid of it?
