How to copy files to larger drives

I have a pr4100 with 3 x 6TB drives.
2 drives are in Raid 0 config, 1 in JBOD.

I want to put a 14tb drive in the last slot, then transfer everything from the JBOD drive to here. Ideally I then want to add that drive into the RAID array.

I run Sonarr, Radarr, Plex, Portainer, and a few others. I’d like not to break all links to the files on the 6tb JBOD, but instead have them link directly to the same data on the 14tb.

Any ideas of the best way to approach this. End goal is to have 14tb accross all bays in Raid 5 without losing data in the progress. The question becomes how to do this. I can probably get the current data low enough to fit on 1 x 14tb.

raid 5 with 4 6tb is 18tb same if using 3 6tb and one larger disk
and you are starting with 18tb of storage (12 tb striped 2 drives + 6 JBOD )

raid 5 with 3 disks 6tb is 12 tb

If you copy current data to a 14tb JBOD disk in drive 4 your new raid temporary will only be 12 tb when you copy back the original data.

Might want to get a 4’th 6 tb and use the 14tb as backup storage and not lose 8tb if used later as a 4th raid disk.

Try to have 2 backups before starting.
