I used the software to back up one of my extra internal hard drives (:/H) to and external Drive (N:/) and that worked fine. Now I connect another external hard drive (M:/) and Smart Ware starts to back up to that drive. I Don’t want Smart Drive to do anything with other connected external hard drives! Can I stop this from happening?

Yes, you can select which drive you want to backup from the home tab on the WD Smartware.
I understand and that’s what I did. Unfortunately when I connected another external hard drive it started backing that one up which is not what I wanted.
