Hi,
I am trying to make the spindown time interval somehow longer, now the usb HDD powers down way to frequent during operation.
I try to do this using WD DriveUtilitiesSetup_for_web_2.0.0.76, since someone suggested that, earlier on the forum here.
However when I launch the application there is no hdd detected; still, the respective hdd shows-up without a problem in WD data lifeguard diagnostics application, I see there SMART info, serial and model number.
Further I read somewhere that WD drive utilities is not compatible with WD Elements (107C USB). Is this true? If so, how can I make the time interval longer, needed to prevent spinning down my drive?
