Hi Everyone

Need some help please.  My WD My Passport Essential SE storage file was deleted.  I have checked in recycling bin but nothing.  I have tried to reinstall the update but nothing seems to work.  When I open Smartware it recognises that the drive is filled to half of capacity ( 1 TB has 549GB free left and 445GB used)  but It does not display the folder for me to retreive my backed up data. 

I have used EASEUS free edition to recover 1GB of data and it proves that the remaining files are there.  I just cant access them.  How do I get the folder back and use the hardrive again as its seems to work but I just cannot access the content?

Any help will be much appreciated.

try recuva as many suggest on here /www.piriform.com/recuva , after you get your data saved somewhere else you can reinstall smartware and start fresh.
