Hi, I currently own a wd tv 1st gen and a wd tv live. I would like to connect them both to a “my book world” nas drive. Is it possible to connect the wd tv via USB? Is there an other way?
The USB port on a Western Digital My Book World Edition is to add an External Hard Disk Drive to the root of the WD My Book World Edition as another Network Share, and does not work as a secondary connection interface. Additionally, the File System of the WD My Book World Edition is the Linux-Based EXT3 File System, which is not supported by any Western Digital Media Player using the USB ports.
