This is a very particular question regarding the type of adapter required to connect HDD extracted from WD MyCloud to the computer via USB.
The HDD has 3.5 inch SATA interface. All the adapters I was able to found are designed for 2.5 inch SATA (see the description here for example: Adapter). I could not find any difference between 2.5 and 3.5 SATA. They have same configuration of pins (7+15), but all the descriptions say that such an adapter is not suitable for 3.5".
Could you please help me with a cable suitable for such a connection?
