For those who face the same problem and somehow couldnât understand most direction in the posts above (like me), there is an easier way to select a folder on another drive with WD sync currently in 2020.
After installing WD sync on window 10 and open wd sync, go to the lower right corner of your desktop and click on the âupâ arrow, then click the âwd syncâ blue symbol (if it is not there, open âwd syncâ from âstartâ menu and try again). Once open, go to âsettingâ. Find and click on the âFoldersâ picture, and now you can add any folder you want to sync on other drive to your âmy cloudâ.
Hope that helps anyone out there who arenât tech savvy like me. Thanks
I know this is an old post but I wanted to thank you. I upgraded my C: drive to an SSD and the WD Sync fold could not find the folder it had been associated with. I had to change the volume encoding for the synced pair. I also changed the folder location to my windows user folder. Seems to have worked just fine.
