I’ve noticed that when I want to do a Back Up by Categories the WD Smartware assumes that the files in all the Categories are located at C:\iancprofile\ianc\My Documents. However, the files I need to back up are at C:\Users\ianc\My Documents and C:\Users\ianc\My Pictures.
Is there any way of changing the default path for back up by category - or do I just have to back up by files and folders? I’d prefer to back up by categories as it seems to be the simplest way of doing it - but not if it fails to back up the files I need!
I recommend doing a file backup, on this case you can just select the users folder so that way you can backup all the different users and the sub folders within them, this way, you don’t have to select a specific folders with a specific user name of the system, instead it will back up all the users that are on this system.
